It’s been 4 and a half years since the book Kitesong was published. Your support has raised more than $110’000 to purchase a permanent home for the children of Sophia’s Home in Nepal. This has met their desperate need for stability, education and basic necessities.
With the remaining copies of the book and Kitesong DVD, we hope to continue to raise funds for needy youth and children, to touch lives all over the world. Your donation will contribute to the holistic education of children in developing nations, equipping them with skills for gainful employment, to help these precious lives reach their full potential.
There are 2 sponsorship schemes: $30 (non-residential scheme)will help a needy student with his educational needs for one month, while $90 (residential scheme) will help a needy child with his other holistic needs as well, such as housing, food etc. You may find out more here.
To make a contribution, you may send a cheque to The Methodist Church, Do indicate “Kitesong” behind your cheque, the scheme you’d like to support (non-residential- $30/student for a month or residential- $90/child for a month for 12 months), your name, mailing address and contact number. Upon receiving the cheque, the book will then be mailed to you.You may also call 64784818 for more information.
If you are overseas and would like a copy, do write to mms@methodist.org.sg stating “Request for Kitesong book/DVD”.
No part of your donation will be used to cover the cost of the book or DVD as they have been fully sponsored, with much gratitude.
Thank you for your love and generosity. It will go so far. Your gift, no matter how small, will mean so much to the hopes and dreams of an underprivileged child.
God bless you.
