Thank you for supporting the Kitesong book and DVD. Your love and compassion have given needy children around the world a chance at realising their dreams. The DVD is a continuation of the picturebook Kitesong, which was launched 4 years ago.

The paintings of Kitesong were inspired by the beautiful children I met in Cambodia and Nepal, who hold on to their hopes and dreams in spite of their circumstances. Kitesong was written in hope that by sharing the spirit and hearts of these children, many will be touched by their faith and dreams, and live a life more inspired, more thankful for each day and more thought for others.
My entire life changed when I embarked on this journey with God. I hope this Story blesses your heart and warms your spirit too. To find out how you can make a difference to the lives of these beautiful children, read on.
With love,

From the book Kitesong-
Thank You
I befriended an 18 year-old girl named Somaly when I was in Cambodia on a Youth Expedition project in 2004. She was bright and diligent, full of dreams for a future better than her farmer parents’ plight.
While I myself was preparing for my A-level examinations, I received a letter from her. Her hopes for a higher education had been dashed: “My mother is ill, I have to harvest every day… There is no rain and still there is no rain.” My attempts to coordinate a sponsorship for her failed at the time and I thought of the many children like her who might never have their dreams realized.
Staying in Nepal for five weeks in 2006 on a mission internship programme, I saw how various ministries fulfilled the dreams of children. This book is my small effort to make their mission a little easier. As a product of some of my dreams realized, I hope this book will also inspire those who dream of making a difference to the lives of others. With prayer and hard work, many things are possible.
Thank you for your compassion for needy children around the world. Your love has given them a chance at realizing their dreams.
